"The first three years of life deserve much greater attention than all the others." — Maria Montessori

We offer the opportunity to place your child in the Montessori nursery VALTICE in the village of Valtice from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM for children aged 2 to 3 years, including meals.

The nursery provides an environment that serves as preparation for children entering preschool institutions (kindergartens, childcare groups, etc.). It is a prepared environment with Montessori materials for children aged 2 to 3 years, where they attend without their parents, allowing for a gradual process of becoming independent.

The nursery functions as a "bridge" between activities where children spend time with their parents (such as parent-child exercise classes) and their subsequent attendance at kindergartens, where they are without their parents. Here, children can spend morning time or even an afternoon rest and activities, gradually getting used to being without their parents. Parents can extend the time spent in the nursery based on their assessment of whether their child is ready for longer periods in a group of children without them.

In the nursery, we emphasize an individual approach, which is achievable only with a smaller number of children, with a maximum of 12 children at a time, guided by 2 qualified caregivers with healthcare and educational backgrounds. Children encounter a prepared environment that includes a small kitchen area (for washing dishes, serving, and preparing snacks), potties for all children, and child-friendly toilets. Montessori materials for children aged 2 to 4 are accessible to them, along with outdoor activities in the nursery's own garden and excursions in the local area. We strive to create an environment in our nursery that closely resembles the subsequent preschool education, ensuring that children do not experience significant changes.

We focus on instilling hygiene habits, self-care, and care for the environment, as well as basics of table manners, helping with potty training, learning independence, and the fundamentals of etiquette (such as greetings and expressions of gratitude in natural situations). Our goal is to support the overall development of the child's personality, particularly in gross and fine motor skills, language, and to promote a well-rounded personal growth.

In the Children's Club, children will find several areas they can engage with:

  • Practical Life
  • Sensory Education
  • Exploring the World Around Us
  • Circle Time Activities
  • Outdoor Activities
